Use a Playstation PS3 Controller on a PC
In this simple solution, I cover how to use a Playstation PS3 Controller on your PC. A wireless PS3 Controller can be particularly useful as a mouse or joystick for gaming. I personally use my PS3 controller to play old emulator games occasionally run from my Computer. We will be utilizing the Windows PS3 Controller Drivers created by MotionInJoy in the following tutorial.
How to use a Playstation PS3 Controller on your PC
- Download and unzip the 32 Bit or 64 Bit Windows Ps3 Drivers
- Run the MotionInJoy exe, following the onscreen instructions to install the software
- Plug in your PS3 Controller via the USB Port on your PC
- Click the DS3 Tool shortcut to start the program, then navigate to the Driver Manager Tab
- (1) Tick listed Drivers (2) Click the Load driver Button

- Unplug and Replug your PS3 Controller, then Click the Home Button. If all goes well, you should see your PS3 Controller has been detected.

- You can select a Mode to use and click Enable to enable it.
