Insecure Internet activity. Threat of Virus Attack
The Internet Explorer "Insecure Internet Activity Threat of Virus Attack" prompt is a fake security message. If you receive this message, you may be infected with a Trojan or have a rogue anti spyware software such as Antivirus2008, Antivirus2008 Pro or WinSpywareProtect installed on your computer. It is commonly the result of a Zlob Trojan infection. In most cases, this infection comes from downloading a fake video codec that installs a rogue anti spyware program to your computer. Once Internet Explorer is launched, the rogue anti spyware program will typically display the Message: "Insecure Internet Activity or Threat of Virus Attack". When any resulting option is clicked, you are redirected to a website to purchase a fake anti spyware program or alternately prompted to download an executable.
