How to Remove AntiMalware 2009
AntiMalware 2009 is known as a rogue (fake) anti spyware program. In most cases, AntiMalware 2009 is advertised via pop up ads that are displayed while visiting certain websites. The pop up ads state that your computer is infected and when you click on either button in the pop up, you are redirected to an anti malware scanner page. This scanner is fake and pretends to scan your computer. Once the scanner has finished, it will state that your computer is infected and suggest downloading AntiMalware 2009 to clean and repair your computer.

Once AntiMalware2009 has been installed on your PC, it will run automatically at startup, proceeding to scan your computer and list false infections. The program will state that these infections cannot be removed unless you purchase a license of the software. You may also learn that your Internet Browser has been hijacked. In this case, AntiMalware 2009 randomly injects a fake message into Internet Explorer saying that the page you are going to has been blocked due to malware activity. Moreover, your computer may appear to run much slower than usual.

This is the easy and automated way. However, you could use the manual uninstall method if you want to learn!
- Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

- Perform a Malwarebytes quick scan to detect and remove AntiMalware 2009
Note: Although the Malwarebytes tool will remove this threat for Free, if your existing Antivirus solution let the threat through, I highly recommend Purchasing the Pro version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for live protection and future malware threat prevention.
