Challenger Throttle Calibration
In the following simple solution, I'll show you how to calibrate the throttle on your 2008-20010 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger uses a drive by wire (electronic throttle control) system and should be calibrated any time the battery has been disconnected or if you have installed a custom computer program (diablosport predator canned tune). On my 2009 White Challenger R/T, we noticed that our throttle had a flat spot and the car seemed unresponsive, then lurched when the pedal was barely pressed. Once we calibrated the throttle, the flat spot and lurching disappeared.
How to Calibrate the Challenger Throttle (2008-20010)

(If your Challenger is equipped with a start button, slide your fingernail under the button and lift to remove)
- Insert key into ignition and turn to the ON position (do not start the car).
- Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and then release the pedal.
- Turn the key to the OFF position.
- Proceed to start and drive the car.
If your throttle was not calibrated, you should notice an improvement in throttle response. We noticed a performance increase and a flat or dead spot we had in the throttle disappeared.
