In the following simple solution, I'll show you how to quickly remove VirtualPCGuard. Virtual PC Guard is another rogue antivirus program that has been created to trick a user into thinking they have a virus on their computer. VirtualPCGuard is malware that displays fake security alerts in an attempt to trick a user into thinking they must purchase the program to remove the reported problems.
How to remove VirtualPCGuard:
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the following process:
- Click Start > Run, type regedit and press Enter. Find and delete the following entry from the registry:
- Delete the following files:
- c:\Program Files\VirtualPCGuard\VirtualPCGuard.exe
- c:\Program Files\VirtualPCGuard\VirtualPCGuard.url
- c:\Program Files\VirtualPCGuard\uninst.exe
- c:\Program Files\VirtualPCGuard\Lang
